Why Dean’s Dairy Products is still making its way to the grocery store

Dean’s Creamery, a division of Dean Brands, will be available at grocery stores starting this week.
The frozen dairy products company’s brand has been on the decline for years, with a sharp decline in the U.S. last year.
The company says it expects to be back on the shelves by the end of the year, but it doesn’t have an exact timeline.
The retail grocery store experience has changed.
“We have a long way to go to make Dean’s feel like the place to shop,” CEO Dan Harris said in a statement.
“As we enter the holiday season, we are seeing more and more consumers shop at their local Dean’s grocery store.”
Dean’s says its dairy products will be sold at grocery store kiosks, while the company has partnered with grocery chains like Kroger, Whole Foods and Costco to sell its dairy-free frozen dairy in its own stores.
The chain is also looking to expand to grocery stores, Harris said.
